Thanks to everyone who came out and celebrated the partial eclipse yesterday morning and afternoon with us here in the library’s greenspace.  200 kids and their caretakers enjoyed a magic show and free lunch, thanks to the Meet Up & Eat Up Lunch Program, sponsored by the Houston Community Food Shelf and Cross of Christ Church, then watched the eclipse with special viewing glasses provided by a grant from STAR_Net’s NASA @ My Library Initiative!  We’ll do it again in seven years, so save those precious glasses, everyone!
