Thanks to financial support from the Houston Area Community Foundation and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, the Houston Public Library has launched a new project focusing on young children and their families. Our new “Storytime At Home Kits” provide crafts, songs lyrics, counting and letter recognition activities, STEM projects etc, all linked back to a theme, much like our former storytimes at the library would. Geared towards kids ages 2-8, new kits will be available out on our curbside pick-up table every Saturday morning at 10 am through the end of the schoolyear.
