Our little library in the city of Houston, along with public libraries across southeastern Minnesota, is currently taking part in a broad-based community needs assessment, thanks to a grant allowing us to work with a library consulting organization. Our goal? To learn what our patrons value, expect, and need from the Houston Public Library. As a result, we are conducting an online survey to find out what you think of our collections, services, hours of service, programming, etc. In addition, we are interested in your ideas on how our library should change and grow in the years to come to better serve our community.
